Create a Node Selector

To create a new Node Selector in the Identifier Selector tree:

  1. Open the Identifier Selector.

  2. In the tree, select the position where you want to insert the new node.

  3. From the Edit menu (or right-mouse menu), select New – Node Selector img_def_node_selection_button_bmp.

  4. Enter a name for the selector.

  5. Press Enter.

Initially, the newly created node does not contain any references to nodes in the model tree. You can add these references via the Properties dialog box or via drag-and-drop operations. To open the Properties dialog box:

  1. From the Edit menu, select Properties (or press <Alt>-<Enter> )

Remark

You can also create a new node selector from within a Model Explorer or a View Window:

  1. Open a Model Explorer (or View Window).

  2. Select the nodes/identifiers that you want to save in a new node selector.

  3. From the View menu, select Selection-Save.

The Identifier Selector window appears.

  1. Type a name for the new node.

  2. Press Enter.
